PORTISHEAD Rotary Club has donated �1,500 to Macmillan Cancer Support.
The cause was one of Jacqui Howard-Brown’s, three chosen charities during her year as president of the club last year.
The money was raised from an ABBA Tribute night, a concert by the Avon & Somerset Constabulary Male Voice Choir, a barn dance and the annual swimathon.
Penny Lawrence from Macmillan Cancer Support received the cheque on behalf of the organisation.
