RAG rock, rag drag and a rag fair were just some of the events organised for Gordano School’s sixth form rag week.
Students, dressed in a variety of costumes, raised almost 2,500 for their chosen charity by organising an action packed programme.
The school buzzed with excitement throughout the week as different events unfolded during break and lunch times, after school and into the evening. These ranged from a talent contest and Miss Rag Drag competition to barbecues and a quiz.
The money will go to Portishead-based charity Za Foundation, which supports the community of Nkomazi in South Africa by forming links with communities in North Somerset.
