PRIESTS from Portishead and Nailsea swapped the pulpit for the stage to raise money for charity.
Deacon Peter Rose and Father Samual Ofia joined other priests from across the South West to tread the boards at Bristol’s Colston Hall, as part of a special fundraising event to raise money for the Catholic aid agency CAFOD.
While Father Sam showed off his African dancing, Deacon Peter and his saxophone joined other priests to form the Rat Pack, playing some favourite New York tunes from the 1950s and 60s.
Money raised from the event will go toward tackling poverty and injustice around the world, including the drought crisis affecting hundreds of remote communities in East Africa.
