FAMILY and friends have paid tribute to a Portishead grandmother who died on June 9.
June Dumont, of Victoria Court, died aged 78 after a long illness.
She leaves three children and four grandchildren.
Her daughter Jo said: “Mum was a very determined person and wouldn’t let anything get her down. She maintained her independence, even when she could barely walk and she was always very supportive to family and friends.”
Granddaughter Maxine said: “My nan was awesome.”
