A MOTHER’S Day sale at St Peter’s Primary School in Portishead proved a hit with pupils.
More than 200 was raised at the popular event which involves trays being filled with goodies, wrapped and decorated. Pupils were then able to buy great gifts for their mums for just 1 per tray at an after school sale. School Association chairman Sophie Pasley said: “This is one of the children’s favourite events. Youngsters can do their shopping for mum cheaply and independently and the school benefits from the proceeds.”
