A LADIES day at Gordano School on Saturday will provide an opportunity for women to explore what it means to be fulfilled in life.
Organiser Michelle Taylor from the Elim Church says too many women aspire to the life of a Disney princess, thinking if they find their prince charming or they have a family, perfect figure, clothes and job they will be satisfied.
She said: “When people achieve all the things they have strived for, many find something is still missing from their lives and they do not feel completely satisfied.”
The event will include guest speakers and lively interaction among those attending, as the journey to inner peace and satisfaction is investigated.
Refreshments will be available but a packed lunch is advisable. Tickets for the event which runs from 10am-4pm cost �5 in advance and are available from Morgan Westley in Portishead High Street. Admission on the door is �7. For further information call 07969 243222.
