ORGANISERS of a dance event in Portishead are looking for brownies and guides from surrounding towns and villages to join them.
Scores of Portishead brownies and guides have already signed up to take part in the English tradition of country dancing that stretches back over 500 years.
Jill Elliot who is leading the event said: “We now want to open this up to a wider area and invite some of the girls from Clevedon and Nailsea to join in too.”
The event takes place at Gordano School from 6-8pm on September 20 and is part of the activities arranged for Portishead Festival Week.
