LOVEBIRDS planning to tie the knot turned out in force at the second wedding fair held in a Portishead church.
Light shining through the stained glass windows onto stalls below created the perfect setting for the event, organised by Portishead Wedding Network and held at St Peter’s Church.
A spokesman for the organisation said: “For the second year running our fair was a resounding success, with more than 50 brides and almost 200 people in total visiting.”
The event, which allows businesses within the wedding industry to showcase their services, included fashion shows with commentary provided by BBC Bristol’s radio and TV personality Jemma Cooper and live music from guitarists, a string quartet and a harp player.
The fair is Portishead Wedding Network’s main annual event. To find out more about the network visit www.pwn weddings.co.uk
