THE search is on for the best summer gardens in Portishead.
Portishead in Bloom wants to hear from anyone interested in entering the Summer Garden Awards contest, which will be judged in the coming weeks.
Residents can nominate themselves or other people who they think deserve recognition for their green fingered efforts.
Entries are welcome from individual householders, residents’ associations, schools and businesses, including pubs and clubs. A new category will also see prizes awarded for the best balconies.
Entry forms are available from the Folk Hall in High Street, Portishead Library in Harbour Road or online at www.portisheadinbloom.org.uk
The closing date is August 31.
