EXCITED Portishead schoolchildren have helped design a dinosaur mural.
Year two pupils at High Down Infant School learnt about prehistoric animals during a visit by palaeontologist, Alex Cocking, to the school.
They were then joined by Bristol artist Andy Council who worked alongside the children to design a Stegosaurus mural on one of the school walls.
The mural shows several Portishead landmarks, including the school, Battery Point lighthouse, some of the marina development and the open air pool.
The project was funded by the parent school association.
