PUPILS at a Portishead school celebrated in grand style as they recreated a Hindu wedding.
Year three students at the school are currently researching different aspects of life in India which has already involved tasting authentic Indian cuisine, investigating history and geography and even adopting a tiger. A recent visit from Mr Daz involved a workshop which included the mock Hindu wedding.
Class teacher Liz Essex said: “The children really enjoyed bringing this aspect of India to life through the workshop.”
