GANGLAND warfare was on the cards as Bugsy Malone stormed into Portishead.
Pupils at St Peter’s Primary School turned back the clocks to bring the house down with their adaptation of the well-known musical for their end of year production.
More than 50 youngsters stepped back in time as gangsters and molls in 1929 New York, to deliver well-rehearsed lines and musical numbers, accompanied by the school orchestra and choir. The children performed to the whole school as a dress rehearsal before playing to a full house for friends and family, three nights running.
