PUPILS at a Portishead school have recorded a CD to celebrate maths.
All the children and staff at St Peter’s Primary school took part in the recording session which included songs about numbers, shapes, time, length and weights.
The idea came from class teacher Pippa Osborne who wanted to raise the profile of maths in school while injecting some fun and new experiences.
A competition to design the CD cover was won by 10-year-old Zoe Clark.
Called Marvellous Musical Maths, the disc will be sold at school to raise money to help buy extra maths resources.
