PORTISHEAD schoolchildren explored the circus in a cross curriculum project.
Pupils from Trinity Primary School investigated the science of tricks and balance, designed clown faces, learnt to spin plates and juggle, while others debated the use of animals in circuses and looked at travelling fairs through the ages.
The week-long project culminated in their whole school coming together to share their work and new skills.
