A LEADING children’s writer has given youngsters at a Portishead school an insight in to life as an author.
Jeremy Strong held workshops for students at St Peter’s Primary School during which they discovered how he became a writer and how he comes up with his ideas for his stories.
The visit was organised as part of a term-long project called read your socks off, aimed at encouraging children to spend more time reading.
