EIGHT young hat designers showed off their winning entries in a school competition.
Pupils at St Peter’s Primary School in Portishead were invited to create a hat as part of a celebration of maths.
Pupils spent a week focusing on developing skills in measuring time, length, weight and capacity within the theme of planes, trains and cars.
Class teacher Pippa Osborne said: “The hats were a great way of creatively displaying the students’ maths knowledge.”
