CHILDREN from a Portishead school became history detectives this term, finding clues from the past to help them investigate things that happened 200 million years ago.
Year one pupils at St Peter’s Primary School created their own dinosaur exhibition and invited parents and friends into the classroom to meet a miniature triceratops, unearth fossils and inspect a T-rex in art form.
The youngsters have spent the past weeks sorting the facts from the myths as part of a project on the prehistoric giants.
The end-of-term exhibition gave the students an opportunity to show off all they had discovered.
