SUPERHEROES, film greats and cult TV characters headed for Gordano School in Portishead as sixth form students launched their annual RAG week.
An action-packed week of activities included a quiz, RAG rock, featuring a number of live bands, a lunchtime fair and a disco.
Organisers are hoping to top last year’s efforts which raised about £3,000.
This year, the students have chosen Teenage Cancer Trust and Mend the Gap, a charity that helps bridge the gap between cultures and generations, to benefit from their efforts.
