SWASHBUCKLING pirates descended on a Portishead school as children explored life on the ocean waves.
A dress-up day gave year two pupils at Trinity Primary School the chance to play the part of pirates as they spent their time learning all about the sea.
The activities included sending messages in a bottle, discovering what lives in the sea, looking at water transport and imagining what life as a pirate might be like.
