MEMBERS of the Women’s Institute in Portishead enjoyed a DIY training course so much so they are now looking forward to taking up courses in plastering and plumbing.
The ladies from Harbourside WI visited the Cribbs Causeway B & Q store for basic instruction on using power tools.
President Sheila Lloyd said: “As the slogan on our aprons say, ‘You can do it’, the ladies proved, yes they can.”
Members of the group are now looking forward to learning more new skills and hope to make the DIY courses a regular part of their 2012 programme.
