PORTISHEAD Town Council welcomed a new chairman at its annual general meeting.
Councillor John Clark, who served as vice-chairman for the past year, received a unanimous vote from members, taking the position from the previous year’s chairman Arthur Terry.
Cllr Clark said he will be looking for the council to forge stronger links with the town’s business community in the coming year and will hoping to look at improving public toilet facilities in the town.
