CYCLING specialist Fox Cycling has introduced a new service to help keep bikes on the road in tip top condition.
A new mobile workshop means bicycle mechanics will now visit homes and businesses to service and repair cycles.
Owner Steven Fox said: “Keeping bikes in a safe and roadworthy condition is very important and once a bike is broken we know some cyclists, especially older people, can have difficulty getting it to a workshop for repair, so we decided to offer a service whereby we go to the customer.”
The bike mechanics are also teaming up with Gordano School and PCSO Dawn Tremlett, to run regular workshops, not only to help with repairs but to teach youngsters how to look after their bikes and carry out general maintenance and repairs.
An added service Fox Cycling, which is based at Kestrel Court, offers, is a service to young riders to convert balancing bikes into pedal bikes as the youngsters learn to ride.
