ANOTHER new shop has opened in Portishead High Street.
Flutterbies, selling children’s books, wooden toys and jewellery, has moved in to number two The Old Bakery at 42a High Street.
It’s a family run business with Portishead mum Lisa Harvey at the helm, who hopes her shop will help to keep the Portishead community shopping locally.
Lisa, of Brampton Court, has previously sold the goods at markets and fairs but always wanted to open her own shop. She said: “We are stocking a good selection of items including lots of books and we already have more than 600 titles on our shelves.”
The reading material ranges from babies books through to teenage novels.
