PORTISHEAD Youth Centre has teamed up with AW Inflatables to offer a new range of parties at the Harbour Road building.

The centre is already used as a party venue for children’s discos, soft play and sports activities but it has now launched a variety of inflatable parties which includes assault courses with slides and bouncy castles for any age from toddlers through to teenagers, sumo suits and bungee tug-of-war.

Assistant manager at the centre, Kim Dodd, said: “Inflatables have been very popular with young children for a long time but we are repeatedly asked if we can provide them for older children’s parties. With this in mind we have been working with A W Inflatables to come up with equipment suitable for all ages and can now offer parties that include obstacle courses, sumo suits and a bungee tug-of-war.”

Ashley White who runs A W Inflatables, based in Weston-super-Mare, said: “We are very pleased to team up with Portishead Youth Centre to enable them offer a wider range of party facilities to young people in the town. In addition, this year we are offering schools in the area the use of a bouncy castle for their fundraising events, free of charge.”
