A PORTISHEAD barber has followed in his grandfather’s footsteps to offer a traditional barber experience to his customers.
This month, Mark’s Barbershop at the Triangle, West Hill, has introduced wet shaves to its list of services.
Mark O’Hare’s grandfather ran a barbershop in Portishead High Street in the 1940s and 50s and Mark says, like his grandfather’s, he wanted to offer the close shave service.
He said: “Men’s beauty treatment is one of the fastest growing businesses in UK but for me, the wet shave with an open razor is as good as it gets.”
The wet shaves take around an hour to complete.
