Art of photography explained

A PORTISHEAD photographer has launched a series of training courses for people interested in the art of taking pictures.

Glenn Blakeborough, who runs Focus 14 photographic studio in Kestrel Court, Harbour Road, decided to set up the full-day courses for beginners after receiving a large number of enquiries.

He said: “As a professional photographer I am always being approached by people for advice, ranging from how to use their camera, to how to compose a good photograph.

“With all this interest, I thought I would set up a day-long course to help people get started in their hobby or even the beginning of a new career.”

Glenn ran his first course in May and the places were snapped up so quickly he is now planning to run a series of courses and workshops throughout the summer.
