PORTISHEAD Fish Bar was one of a number of businesses across North Somerset which celebrated national chip week.
The 23rd annual chip week ran between February 17-23 and highlighted the traditional fayre that has become a firm British favourite over the past 150 years.
To mark the occasion, Bev Langdale, who runs the Portishead High Street chippie, launched a loyalty card which will earn her customers free chips for every 10 stamps collected.
Bev said: “Fish and chips has become part of our national heritage and I think it is important that every fish and chip businesses in Britain does something to celebrate and help keep it that way.”
