YOUNGSTERS in Portishead will be able to enjoy day trips this summer organised by their youth club.
Youth workers are currently putting an itinerary together to provide young people with places to go during the school holidays.
A spokesman for Portishead Youth Club said: “The club will be open for normal sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout July and August, but our members have asked if they could have some daytime activities too. As a result, we are talking to them and planning some trips which will take them out and about, supervised by qualified youth workers.”
Young people in school years six and over can become members of the youth club just by turning up to the Harbour Road centre and completing an application form. Membership is free.
Youth workers are asking for ideas to be put forward at youth club over the next week.
