A Western drama will air at Clevedon’s Curzon cinema next month and the Times is offering lucky readers the chance to enjoy it for free.
South Dakota rodeo star Brady Blackburn (Brady Jandreau) awakens from a severe head injury after a horse stamped on his skull.
The doctors tells him he must give up the sport he is so passionate about for fear it may kill him.
While his sister Lily is mentally disabled and his father drinks, gambles and womanises, Brady is the crutch that supports the family.
But, without rodeo, he is facing a life of misery.
So he is now faced with a choice – risk his life for a hobby he loves or give up his dream and become a store clerk but live.
This hard-hitting drama had critics raving after its release in 2017.
It premiered in the Directors’ Fortnight section of the Cannes Film Festival where it won the Art Cinema Award.
Critics have complimented the film on its ‘style’ and ‘sense of light, landscape and mood
It was released in cinemas in the USA in April and now makes its way to the UK.
The Times has teamed up with the Curzon to offer one lucky reader the chance to see the film for free.
