A coming-of-age comedy drama is to be shown at the Curzon, and the Times has a pair of tickets to give away.

Love, Simon (12A) is about a 17-year-old boy struggling to reveal to his friends and family he is gay.

Just to confuse Simon (Nick Robinson) even more, he is also trying to discover the identity of an anonymous online classmate who he has fallen for.

Animated family fun in Duck Duck Goose (PG) will be screened at the weekend.

From the creator of Home and Surf’s Up, the CGI adventure follows a bachelor goose who has to journey south for the winter.

During the trip he comes across two young ducklings and the trio form a loveable but unlikely family.

Egyptian murder mystery The Nile Hilton Incident (15) will intrigue Curzon viewers on Sunday.

Set in the corruption-riddled streets of Cairo, the film sees a jazz singer killed leading an investigator on a path to the centre of Egyptian politics.

The film has recently swept the boards at the Swedish Guldbagge Awards where it was named Best Picture, Best Lead Actor and Best Sound Design.

An authentic portrayal of Mary Magdalene (12A) will be shown next week, as the biblical woman leaves her home and family to follow Jesus of Nazareth.

The final offerings of the week will be The Greatest Showman Sing-Along (PG) and Disney fantasy adventure A Wrinkle In Time (PG).

The Curzon and the Times have teamed up once again to offer one lucky reader a pair of tickets to see Love, Simon.
