The fifth instalment in the hugely popular Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise will swing into action at the Curzon cinema this week.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge (12A) sees Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) on the run from an army of terrifying ghost sailors.
Led by the evil Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), the spirits are out for revenge after escaping from the Devil’s Triangle and are determined to kill every pirate at sea.
In his efforts to outrun his pursuers, Jack searches for the trident of Poseidon which will give him complete power over the seas.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge will be screened on Friday and will run until June 3.
The lovable tale of A Dog’s Purpose (PG) will be screened over the weekend.
Featuring the voice of Josh Gad and based on a best-selling novel by W Bruce Cameron, the film follows a loyal dog which learns about his own life while helping humans to love and laugh.
On Sunday, a satellite broadcast of an interview with Stephen Fry will be shown following a screening of The Hippopotamus (15).
Based on Fry’s titular novel, the film sees poet Ted Wallace (Roger Allam) sent to his friend’s country manor to look into a series of strange miracles.
