PUBLISHED: 18:00 14 August 2018
The smallest member of the gargantuan Marvel universe is returning to Clevedon’s Curzon cinema screen this week.
Ant-Man And The Wasp (12A) follows the events of 2016’s Captain America: Civil War and sees Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) fighting the consequences of his choices both as a father and superhero.
Balancing home life with his new responsibilities as Ant-Man, he is called upon by Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) and Dr Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) with a dangerous new mission.
Faced with criminal Sonny Burch (Walton Goggins) Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), who has the ability to phase through walls, Ant-Man must work with The Wasp to reveal past secrets.
Ant Man And The Wasp will be screened at the Curzon cinema, in Old Church Road, from Friday to August 23.
A heart-warming new live-action take on a classic children’s tale by AA Milne will also begin a run of screenings on Friday.
Disney’s Christopher Robin (PG) sees the title character all grown up with his own family in London.
When he receives a surprise visit by old friend Winnie the Pooh, the pair set off to find the old gang; Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, Owl, Rabbit, Kanga and Roo.
Once the crew is rounded up, they all head to the capital to help Christopher Robin rediscover the joy of life.
