An action-packed dance show will be performed in Weston this month, and the Times has tickets to see it up for grabs.
Last Man Standing will be performed at Theatre Tropicana in Marine Parade on April 13.
The show features a cast of six talented dancers and is based on the basic human instinct to survive. It delves into the fragility of human existence and draws influences from The Last Hero by Terry Pratchett and the Greek myth Orpheus and Eurydice.
Dancers use everything from break dancing to martial arts to create an energetic and athletic experience. Each routine is performed to a soundtrack of exhilarating rock music.
Since graduating from London Contemporary Dance School in 2009, Cornish-born choreographer James Wilton has become one of the shining lights in British dance.
He has a multitude of awards to his name including the Bern and Hannover International Choreography competitions while he has also won the Sadler’s Wells Global Dance Contest.
As well as his own company, James has worked for the Scottish Dance Theatre, Ballet Hagen, Verve and many others.
It is hoped the popularity of recent performances could launch the show into an international tour and earn it worldwide recognition.
The performance of Last Man Standing will begin at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced £10, are available here.
