An increasingly-popular theatre company is set to perform a heart-warming family –friendly puppet show in Clevedon next month, and the Times has free tickets to give away to lucky readers.

Pickled Image, which is based in Bristol, will present Woodland Tales With Granddad at the Theatre Shop, in Queens Square, on April 12.

The performance will focus on Briarbush, an old dog fox which fears for the future of his woodland.

He notices changes around him on the eve of the summer solstice, and returns home to find his neighbours scared for what may be on the horizon.

Briarbush goes to the only person he can trust – Granddad –but will their efforts be enough to save the forest?

Pickled Image are well respected on the South West theatre scene, forming in 2000 and amassing an reputation for excellent puppetry performances.

The show has earned plenty of rave reviews, which have labelled it an ‘inventive and imaginative’ tale which is impeccably delivered.

A Theatre Shop spokesman said: “Woodland Tales With Granddad promises to be a magical, family show and the perfect pre-Easter treat.

“Pickled Image are renowned for bringing their imaginative stories to life with amazing puppetry and heartfelt performances, guaranteed to enthral and delight all ages.”
