Pantomime season arrives in Long Ashton this week.

Goldilocks will be performed at the village hall in Keedwell Hill at 7.30pm on Friday, and 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday.

When Goldilocks is turned bad by her mother Evil Edna she decides to break into the Three Bears’ home. She then discovers they are stealing from the village but, thanks to the help of a charming prince, is converted back to her old self.

The panto features a host of wacky fantasy characters including the Elven King, who lives in the Magic Wood, Fairy Good Enuff, Squire Hopeless and his right-hand men Spit and Polish, and Mixed Up Mary.

Tickets for the matinee have sold out but they are still available for the evening shows.

Tickets, priced £3-7, are available by calling 01275 392148, 07846 743580 or emailing
