THE Little Elephant, a charming tale of a curious elephant, will appear at the egg theatre in Bath this week.

Bubu is the only boy in his family and his sisters are too young to look after the house.

So his mummy and daddy have given him the task of washing all the family’s socks. It’s a boring job, and during the washing Bubu tells himself a story. As if by magic the socks come to life and turn into jungle animals.

This delightful and imaginative performance for children aged two to seven, introduces animals of all colours and sizes, accompanied by many songs and sounds that recall Africa.

The Little Elephant appears at the theatre on Friday and Sunday.

Tickets, priced £5.50-7, are available from the box office on 01225 448844, 01225 823409 or at www.theatreroyal.org.uk
