WIN free tickets to watch Nativity comedy in Clevedon
PUBLISHED: 16:14 16 November 2018
There are few stories better known than the birth of Jesus.
It is a tale which has been told from generation to generation, but it is set to get a bit of a makeover in Clevedon next week.
Living Spit will be providing a comedic look at the ‘greatest story ever told’.
Last year they put on an incredible 22-night run of the show across the country and they will be returning to North Somerset again in 2018.
Gold, frankincense, myrrh, donkeys, camels, lambs and more will make an appearance as Howard and Stu get back on the road.
A spokesman said: “Yes, that’s right folks, Living Spit are back, by popular demand with the Nativity.
“With the usual mix of silly songs, pitiful puppetry and more Biblical befuddlement than you can shake a figgy pudding at, Nativity is a cornucopia of comic Christmassy crudeness you’ll never forget.
“It, however, is not for the faint-hearted or the extremely religious.”
Living Spit advises the show is not appropriate for anyone under the age of 14.
Nativity will be at Theatre Shop from November 26 to December 1, with shows starting at 7.30pm.
It will then move to Weston’s Tropicana for three nights, starting on December 3.
Tickets for the Clevedon show, priced £12 plus booking fee, are available at www.theatreshop.org.uk or on 03336 663366.
