A MUSICAL based on the story of the Ugly Duckling will be entertaining families at Failand Village Hall from November 20-24.

Honk, by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, tells the story of Ugly – an odd-looking baby duck, who is tempted away from the farmyard by a conniving cat who wants to eat him.

Ugly meets a cast of characters including a cheerful frog family, an austere chicken, a flock of military geese and a beautiful swan who all try to help, or hinder, him from finding his way back to his mother.

Performances start at 7.30pm in the village hall, Ox House Lane, and tickets, priced £5-9, are available on 01275 392196 or from boxoffice@failanddramacircle.org.uk
