Hundreds of visitors turned out to see Congresbury Flower Festival, mark the 800th anniversary of St Andrew’s Church.
Various events have been held to mark the milestone, with the flower festival taking place over two days on the final weekend in June.
Stuart Haggett, chairman of the church’s friends group, said: “It was a stunning and hugely successful weekend. Some 23 flower arrangers, under the guidance of Margaret Gosling, worked throughout the week to produce not only the actual displays in church, which reflect aspects of history and church activities and groups, but also the flower-filled boot trail on all paths leading to the church.”
