An improvised pub quiz will take place in Clevedon next month, and Times readers can win tickets to the show.

Living Spit will perform the Living Quiz at the Theatre Shop, in Queens Square, on May 14 at 7.30pm.

The Living Quiz is a quiz night with a twist - every question is performed live, acted, sung, mimed or danced by Howard Coggins and Stu Mcloughlin.

Armed with just a guitar, a double bass and a ukulele, they mix improvisation techniques with their own inimitable performance style and apply them to the old pub quiz format, resulting in a unique, live quiz experience which is never the same twice.

Audience members will form their own team and compete to win a mystery star prize.

Living Spit formed in 2012 and regularly sell out venues both in the district and across the country.

They have since written and performed 13 shows including The Six Wives Of Henry VIII, The Fabulous Bacon Brothers, Giants Of Science and A Christmas Carol.

Howard and Stu first met at the Bristol Old Vic theatre in 1997 and many of their productions feature a historical theme, while others use literary classics as the inspiration.

Tickets, priced £12, are available at www.theatreshop.org.uk or on 03336 663366.

Living Spit advises the show is not appropriate for anyone under the age of 12.

The Times has teamed up with Theatre Shop to offer two lucky readers the chance to win two pairs of tickets to see the show.
