Theatre goers in Clevedon will be transported back to the 1980s next month.
Little Earthquake will perform I Ain't Afraid Of No Ghost at the Theatre Shop, in Queens Square, on November 14 at 7pm.
Little Earthquake is a UK-based theatre company, founded in 2005 by co-directors Gareth Nicholls and Philip Holyman.
The show won the national rural touring awards performance of the year for 2019.
The company's events invite audiences to scupper their expectations and escape the ordinary.
Back in 1986, an ordinary home in Derby on the edge of an abandoned graveyard, was the unlikely setting for some puzzling paranormal activity.
Inspired by his favourite film, little Gareth became a self-appointed Ghostbuster, launching an investigation into a playful poltergeist.
Now, three decades later, with the help of home videos, retro toys and interviews with his nearest and dearest, grown-up Gareth is determined to uncover what was really going on inside his very own haunted house.
Surrounded by shelves crammed with toys and tapes in a retro recreation of his original bedroom, Gareth is about to channel the boy he once was to find out what made him the man he is today.
The trip back to the 1980s sees a comic exploration of a childhood haunting where nothing is quite what it seems, all wrapped up in some formidable fashions, stuffed with sweet treats and set to a cheesy chart-topping soundtrack.
Tickets, priced £12, are available at www.theatreshop.org.uk or on 03336 663366.
