A theatre show remake of the timeless classic, Dirty Dancing will be performed at a venue in the district next month.
Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage tells the tale of Frances 'Baby' Houseman's (Kira Malou holiday in New York's Catskill Mountains, where she gets tangled in a whirlwind romance with dance instructor Johnny Castle (Michael O'Reilly).
The production, produced by Karl Sydow, features songs from the film including Hungry Eyes, Hey! Baby, Do You Love Me? and I've Had The Time Of My Life.
Dirty Dancing returns to the stage after it gained two West End runs and three UK tours.
The show opened at London's Aldwych Theatre in 2006, which made a record-breaking £15million - the fastest selling performance in West End history.
Dirty Dancing was also the longest running show at the London theatre, which was played to more than two million people during its five-year run.
The production has also been performed across Europe, the USA, Hong Kong and Singapore and recent tours in France, Germany and Australia were sell-out shows.
Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage will be shown at Bristol Hippodrome from July 1-6.
Evening shows start between 5-8.30pm and matinees at 3pm.
Tickets, priced from £13, are available at www.atgtickets.com/bristol or call the box office on 08448 713012.
