A HEART-WARMING story with Irish music and dance, Essence Of Ireland is set against the backdrop of Ireland, England and the United States in the 19th century.

Coro McGowen and Sean Dempsey are separated from each other in the show which is based on true events.

To be performed at The Playhouse in Weston’s High Street on March 7 at 7.30pm, it takes audiences on a historical journey from America’s introduction to rock and roll to John F Kennedy’s visit to Ireland in 1963.

Director Ross Mill said: “The tour, which has been scheduled around St Patrick’s Day, aims to really capture that authentic Irish feeling and celebrate this infectious heritage, which is now shared by all cultures worldwide.”
