THE beautifully animated film, Ponyo, will be screened as part of the Curzon Kids film club which starts its new programme this month.

On September 22 at 10am, youngsters aged five to 11 and their parents can watch the story of Ponyo - goldfish who turns into a girl.

Her father tries to bring her back to the sea, causing all sorts of tidal waves, but her friend Sosuke wants her to stay.

After the film, audience members at the cinema in Old Church Road, Clevedon, can also take part in a fun activity such as making flick books, doing some drawing or playing with Lego.

Tickets, priced £3.50 to include the film and activity, can be booked by calling 01275 871000. A complimentary ticket will be given to any adult who brings four or more children to the screening.
