Dublin’s finest will entertain the crowds at Forest Live this summer and the Times is offering you the chance to be there.
The Script have sold millions of records worldwide and have headlined at more than 200 venues.
The Irish trio’s newest release, Freedom Child, topped the UK Official Albums Chart and scored them their fourth UK number one album.
Lead single Rain picked up phenomenal radio airplay and the video was viewed more than 30 million times as fans were introduced to a new sound from the Irish band.
They have had ongoing success since starting their journey in 2007.
Lead singer Danny O’Donoghue and best friend and lead guitarist Mark Sheehan were formerly part of new band Mytown, which was formed in 1996.
After some success with the band, they moved back to Dublin and recruited drummer Glen Power to create The Script.
The trio have since gone from strength to strength penning anthems to mark their own losses, heartbreaks and successes.
The band took a year hiatus to ‘chill’ after releasing four albums and completing five world tours but started working on their new album in late 2016.
They are taking a break from their world tour to perform for one-night-only at the Forestry Commission’s Forest Live, with special guest Tom Walker.
The Script will be at Forest Live at the Westonbirt Arboretum, near Tetbury in Gloucestershire, on June 14 at 7.30pm, with gates opening at 6pm.
Tickets, priced £47.25, are available from www.forestry.gov.uk/music
