Their visit has been organised by Speakeasy Jazz Club for its November gig.

Organiser Kate Sheridan said: “The Pedigree Jazz Band play an intoxicating mix of the jazz tunes.

“We’ll be transported to the era of Chris Barber, Aker Bilk and Kenny Ball and other great bands of the traditional jazz revival, and we’ll be treated to many of the flagship tunes of the period.

“This wonderful six-piece band is fronted by clarinettist and band leader Chris Walker, who has more than 30 years’ experience.”

The gig will start at 8.30pm on Friday at Clarence House.
