UP-AND-COMING party band The Future Kings play their debut gig at Portishead’s Clarence House in High Street, on April 30 at 8pm.
Currently one of the most sought-after acts on the corporate function circuit in the South West, this young and vibrant five-piece has flourished since its beginnings in 2008.
With the group expertly delivering a large repertoire of music, the Portishead fund-raising event promises something for everyone, from the young through to the more senior generations.
Music ranging from 60’s rock and roll to Motown, rock and pop classics to current chart toppers, aims to have everyone dancing the night away.
Tickets, priced at £4, are available from Derrick and Tracey Fowler on 01275 844868 or from Mad Harry’s fancy dress and party shop at 98 High Street, Portishead.
Proceeds from the evening will support youngsters from Cheryl Rowlands School of Drama in their annual summer show, purchasing costumes for their adaptation of The Sound of Music, which takes place on July 9 at Somerset Hall, also in High Street.
