Spooks join in the carnival party

THE Spooks will provide live music at the after-carnival party in Portishead this year.
When the sun goes down on carnival day, it has become tradition to keep the party going for the adults and round the day off with a big celebration event.
The Spooks, a five piece band made up of Portishead musicians, supported the Wurzels at the carnival last year and their increasing popularity prompted organisers to secure them for this year’s over-18s event on carnival night.
The carnival takes place on June 18 and tickets for the party, which takes place at Somerset Hall in High Street, cost £7. They are available from Supersavers in High Street.
