Quartet to perform at Ring of Bells

THE Finnegan O’Rourke Quartet will be performing at the Ring of Bells in St Mary’s Grove, Nailsea on Friday from 8pm.

The group includes two of the biggest names on the folk scene - Brian Finnegan on flute and whistles, and Aidan O’Rourke the Scottish fiddle player and founding member of Blazin’ fiddles, Lau and Tabache.

The pair will be accompanied by Ian Stephenson on the guitar and double bass and Jim Goodwin on drums.

Both Brian and Aidan are held in the highest regard as composers and they will be bringing their new compositions and traditional tunes to life with scintillating style.

The event, which has been organised by Nailsea Folk Club, is expected to be hugely popular with music of the highest calibre. Tickets are £12. To book call 01275 790915.
