AUDIENCES in Congresbury will be treated to popular swing-era songs during a concert by vocal harmony group, Lyrica.

On September 10, the group will perform at St Andrew’s Church singing some popular favourites including Fields of Gold, I Say a Little Prayer and Dream a Little Dream.

The featured soloists will be Emily Wyatt, a talented young singer / song-writer performing some of her own work and Elizabeth Glen, a classical soloist who will sing a selection of Manuel De Falla’s 7 Popular Spanish Songs.

They will be joined in the vocal ensemble by singers Naomi Hickman, Rosie Peat and Lucy Connelly. Stuart Phippen will accompany them on piano.

The concert at the Church Drive venue will start at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £6-8, are available on the door or in advance by calling 01934 832283 or emailing liz@lyrica.co.uk

Proceeds will be donated to Children’s Hospice South West, which runs Charlton Farm in Wraxall.
